Ocean Park Adventure

Posted on March 25th, 2009 by Bang in Trip

“Manila Ocean Park is the Philippines’ first state-of-the-art Oceanarium, open water marine habitat, boutique mall, restaurant row and function facilities all located in one complex at the back of the Quirino Grandstand.”

It was my first time to go there and I really did enjoy its facilities and the fantastic view of the life in the deep blue sea. I could really say that it was so fascinating and breathtaking to see colorful and I could say weird shapes sea creatures. There are creatures that I haven’t seen and heard of. It was so fun and enjoyable. The 400 pesos entrance was worth it. The camera is a must to bring but no flashes.

My sister had a 5 days vacation and part of her itinerary is to experience advance water rafting here in CDOC even if we have uncertainties due to flashfloods that occur here in Cagayan de Oro City for the past two weeks. After raftng, we went to Macahambus Park and experience the zip line. Hmmmm quite high.. Here’s our pictures:

Enchanted Kingdom Attractions

Posted on January 14th, 2009 by Bang in Trip

I’ve spent my Christmas with my sister in Batangas together with my family and Dee. On the day we arrived December 23, 2008, we went to Enchanted Kingdom as this bagged International awards for 4D which I would say the best ever realistic experience aside from the space shuttle (took my breath away for s split seconds).

Some of Enchanted Kingdom attractions we went to were:

  • Space Shuttle (Vekoma Boomerang roller coaster)
  • Anchors Away (Pirate Ship Ride)
  • 4D Theater
  • Flying Fiesta (Giant swing ride)
  • Dodgem (Bumper Cars)
  • Up, up and Away (Balloon Ride)
  • Realto
  • Roller Skaters (Mini Roller Coaster)

There are still a lot of rides but due to time constraint we weren’t able to ride and experience their attractions however with what we had we still enjoyed it so much. Apart from their attractions, they do have Park Zones like

  • Spaceport - Relive the glory days of the American space exploration program of the 1960s.
  • Portabello - A replica of Portabello, a place in Panama in the Caribbean Sea where the riches of the Incas were shipped by the Spaniards.
  • Brooklyn Place - Take a sentimental journey down the streets of Brooklyn, one of New York’s five boroughs, as it was in the 1940s.
  • Victoria Park - Inspired by the era of Queen Victoria’s rule
  • Boulderville - Discover an era ruled by dinosaurs as you enter Boulderville, a prehistoric cartoon zone designed to capture every child’s imagination.
  • Midway Boardwalk - Coney Island, known as “America’s Playground” in the 1930s, comes to life at the Midway Boardwalk.
  • Jungle Outpost - The heart of the Amazon is the setting of the Jungle Outpost.

It even snow though it was a fake one. Still, the magic truly stays with you.

Here’s some of our snaps:

My Weird friend and Special Someone

Posted on January 10th, 2009 by Bang in Trip

His ‘Kulot’, sometimes weird, quite thoughtful, loving bf, sweet friend and partner DEE. Hmmm… It would be quite korny and boring for you to read the tale of our love story however I wanted to share a bit of his weirdness… (I can’t help but smile at these pictures.)

It was the spur of the moment to just blog about his weirdness. He rarely does it and well, I just don’t seem to see it in him like this…. His weirdness…. I have found the pictures in his laptop foldered and named with ‘walay lingaw’ which was precisely the correct meaning of it HE REALLY DOESN’T HAVE SOMETHING TO DO or in short NOTHING TO DO… hmmmm

here is it… (I have secretly copied these pictures)
